Pyramidal Neuron

Summary

The pyramidal neuron is easily one of my favourite neuronal cells. Look at that long slender dendritic spine reaching out above its shapely pyramid body. It's not just long for good looks it's purpose is to stretch out far beyond all other neurons and reach the outer limits of your brain's cortex.
